Floral Prints: To wear or not to wear?

My blog's color palette screams girly but when it comes to wardrobe choices, I'm more of a monochrome, stick to black and white kinda girl.

Even though I admit I'm not that into florals, it's still something I find very chic when someone else wears it, like this floral slit dress that Ms. Regina George (AKA Rachel Adams) is wearing.

The only reason why I don't like wearing florals is because; one it kinda reminds me of my grandmother(God bless her soul) two, its just too girly for me. It doesn't really suit my personality. That's why I envy those girls who can rock that floral print.

While I was going through my closet and getting ready for this botanical escapade, I realized I'm quite ready for it. So I decided to give it a shot and honestly, it wasn't that bad. I felt a little whimsical actually.

My verdict for this floral wonderland of awesomeness is... yes, you guess it, its a YAY! for me.

I already have two floral numbers lined up.

1. This white demure floral printed cardigan. Perfect for a little coverage. PHOTO CREDIT: Carissa Simmons

I love trying new things. Especially if it involves getting dressed up and writing about it. That's like the perfect day for me. You should try something new as well, you'll never know until you try.
